Minutes of AGM at the Grey Horse on the 8th of February 2010
1/. Role Call was taken, the following teams were not present and are therefore fined £2.

2/. The Chairman’s Remarks were read out by Phillip Chapman, including a list given to all delegates with a list of their duties. The General Rules for 2010 will be followed to the letter.
3/. The Secretaries Report was read out by Roy Chapman.
4/. The Treasuries Report was read out by Assistant Treasurer Lynn Robinson.
5/. Their was No Other Business
6/. The 2009 Barnsley Monday Night Pool League will be closed.
7/. The Committee is to take the following structure.

8/. Game Rules Proposed Amendments 2010
D ) If a red or yellow is potted from the break the player making the break shot must decide to which colour he/she wishes to play and nominate that colour.
If a red ball is potted from the break and the player nominates red the play remains on red.
Replace with:-
D) If a red or yellow ball is potted from the break and the player wishes to remain on that colour, then they do not need to nominate. However, if a red or yellow is potted from the break and the player making the break shot decides to play the opposite colour, he/she must nominate that colour.

9/. General Rule Proposed Amendments 2010
Rule 2 B)
All teams have to play 7 registered players.
Replace with:-
All teams have to play 6 registered players.

Rule 2 D)
When a player has played for a team, he is automatically tied to that team for the rest of the season and cannot transfer, unless the team he as played for has quit the league. If the said team are in arrears then the player must be pay 10% of their outstanding costs. The only exception is if a landlord moves to another pub within the league.
Replace with:-
A player is allowed one transfer per season, before the first meeting in September. This will incur a £5 fee. However, the player is financially bound to both clubs all season. Landlords are allowed to move to another pub within the league, free of charge.

New Rule:
All meetings will be at a designated venue for the whole season, the venue will be decided by the delegates at the AGM.

Four teams will be promoted from the 2nd, 3rd & 4th divisions to their respected higher leagues relegation will depend on the constitution of the leagues.
Replace with:-

Saturday Afternoon:- Under 21s.

Sunday Afternoon:- Three man team event.
Sunday Evening:- Over 50s
Individuals:- Semis
Pairs:- Semis
Monday Evening:- Pairs Final
Individuals Final
Masters Final
