League Structure Re-Re-Re-Re-Re-Finalised Tuesday 28th February 2012
As was announced at yesterday’s delegate meeting, the Wilthorpe have been forced to pull out of the league, meaning that we now have a 46 team league for 2012, with 14 teams in Division 1 and 16 teams in Divisions 2 and 3.
The fixtures on the website have been updated and are now 100% correct, and printed copies of these finalised fixture lists will be handed out at the next meeting. Please note that the fixture dates in the printed handbooks are not correct; the 12th and 19th of March will be normal league weeks as indicated on the website and not cup games.
And finally, the website results and league tables have now been updated with the first two weeks’ matches.

League Structure Finalised Wednesday 22nd February 2012
The league structure for the 2012 season has been finalised, and the amended fixtures have now been uploaded to the website.
47 teams have confirmed their participation, with 15 teams in Division 1 and 16 teams in Divisions 2 and 3.
Printed copies of the updated fixture list will be handed out at the next meeting at the Tin Hat WMC on Monday.
Fixture Amendments Tuesday 14th February 2012
At yesterday’s delegate meeting it emerged that some last minute changes to the structure of the league were necessary, resulting in some amendments to the fixture list.
At present we’re still awaiting final confirmation from a couple of teams as to whether or not they will be participating in this year’s league, and as soon as we have this the updated fixture list will be announced on the website, and a copy will be handed out to everyone at the next meeting at the Tin Hat WMC on the 27th of February.
In the meantime, the next round of fixtures on the 20th of February go ahead as normal, with all games being a reversal of yesterday’s matches. Any teams whose opponents didn’t turn up yesterday will be contacted directly this week about what to do this coming Monday, but if anyone has any questions please email us.
BMPL 2012 Season Website Launched Sunday 12th February 2012
Welcome to the brand new Barnsley Monday Pool League 2012 Season website.
Launched on the eve of the new season, the site initially contains only league tables, fixtures and results, but rest assured it will be under constant development throughout the year, with new sections and features being added regularly.
